We started the day off Skyping w/a friend.  Lots of smiles & laughter :)

The weather was gorgeous!

DH has been giving guitar lessons to a friend's son, and he performed for us and another family (the family we unknowingly run into every week :))

The house was full of kids and fun times.

Just some before Friday dinner happenings.

We made it through the first week back!  They were both good about getting back into the routine and seemed to enjoy their days at school. At bedtime right before I turn out the lights, the bigger munchkin tends to reveal things that are on her mind.  She rattled off all the names of the girls she played with this week, but stated she really misses her friend who moved. She wishes things were back to normal.  Tomorrow morning we're going to Skype w/her friend, so hopefully it will cure her four year old blues.  

winter preparations

I brought out the hats and mittens. 

She insisted on wearing them in the house for a few hours.   

It's fun being two.    

Warm w/blankie, slippers, and string cheese = happy little girl.
