My maternal grandmother-Pak Bok Soon (June 1922-2001), my paternal grandmother-Ahn Jung Sook (February 1922- ), my paternal grandfather- Jo Il Hwan (1918-2000), and my maternal grandfather- Kim Young Ho(January 1918- January 17, 2012). My mom grew up in Ma gok sa, Sa Gok Ri. This photo was taken probably 15-20 years ago in South Korea, in front of my paternal grandparent's house in Janghangup, Solmandul. My dad's mom still lives there.
My grandfather passed away early this morning. I was with my family tonight as we were going through my grandfather's room. He had so many old photos in frames, and this was one of them. It was so good to be with all my relatives. We cried a lot and laughed a lot. Again, I regret not bringing my camera.
